The Indian Landslide Susceptibility Map (ILSM) is a national-scale geospatial intelligence product developed to assess and quantify landslide risk across India using advanced machine learning techniques.
The dataset represents India’s first machine learning–based landslide susceptibility map, designed to overcome the limitations of traditional heuristic and region-specific approaches that suffer from coarse resolution and limited coverage.
The model operates at a spatial resolution of approximately 100 meters, classifying the landscape into multiple susceptibility levels and enabling consistent, large-scale risk assessment across diverse physiographic regions. ILSM provides a transparent, data-driven foundation for policymaking and planning, supporting disaster risk reduction, infrastructure development, and the design of early warning systems by delivering reliable, nationally consistent landslide risk intelligence.
A centralized digital observatory enabling real-time tracking of India’s largest water rejuvenation mission covering 69,000+ ponds with AI-driven detection and monitoring.
A lightweight, open-source geospatial system that delivers fast and accurate landslide extent maps from Sentinel-2 imagery with minimal user input.
